The Hong Kong Shippers' Council is committed to enhancing the competitiveness of Hong Kong's logistics industry using digital technologies, creating a favourable and sustainable business environment for achieving upgrading, transformation, and value creation. To develop the logistics industry and SMEs' capabilities to implement digital transformation and Logistics 4.0 solutions, the Hong Kong Shippers' Council will organize a project titled "Empower the Logistics Industry and Hong Kong Enterprises to Implement Digital Transformation and Achieve Competency in Hong Kong" This project is funded by the Trade and Industrial Organisation Support Fund of the Trade and Industry Department, HKSAR Government. Through the organisation of a series of seminars, study missions, and logistics process interviews with Hong Kong enterprises, the Hong Kong Shippers' Council aims to cultivate and raise awareness of digital transformation knowledge among industry stakeholders, leverage technology to realize synergies, and make business transformation achievable. |

The Hong Kong Shippers' Council
Consisting of 15 trade associations as founding members and 16 corporates as associate members, the Council serves to protect and promote the interests of Hong Kong exporters and importers, traders and manufacturers in matters relating to the transportation of merchandise by sea, land and air.
Additionally, the Council works to maintain a level playing field between shippers and service providers, such as shipping lines, airfreight carriers, logistics service providers and freight forwarders.
The Council represents Hong Kong shippers overseas and is a member of regional and international shippers' councils, including the Global Shippers' Alliance, the Asian Shippers' Alliance, the Asian Shippers' Council, the Cross Strait Shippers' Alliance, the Federation of ASEAN Shippers' Councils (FASC).
